The mPEG-DSPE series, also known as Methoxy-terminated PEG-DSPE, consists of monomethoxy PEG conjugated to a distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE) lipid anchor. mPEG-DSPE provides effective steric stabilization and reduced protein adsorption on lipid surfaces. It is widely used in liposome stealth coating, nanoparticle stabilization, and drug-delivery system enhancement.
