The DSPE-PEG-Maleimide series, also known as Maleimide-PEGylated DSPE, combines a DSPE lipid anchor with a maleimide terminus for thiol-specific conjugation. The maleimide group enables stable thioether bond formation with thiol-containing molecules under mild conditions. DSPE-PEG-Maleimide is widely used in antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) construction and targeted liposome functionalization.
