Disulfide Linkers

Disulfide Linkers and Cleavable Disulfides are a class of cleavable linker units containing disulfide bonds (-S-S-). Their core characteristic is the ability to undergo specific cleavage under the reducing environment of high intracellular glutathione (GSH) concentrations. This intelligent response mechanism makes them a key component in drug delivery systems (such as ADCs and nucleic acid delivery), enabling intracellular targeted release and minimizing systemic toxicity.
