A protected functional group reagent featuring a trifluoroacetyl (Tfa)-protected amine and a disulfide bond (also known as a Trifluoroacetyl-protected disulfide or Tfa-SS). Allows orthogonal deprotection under mild basic conditions while maintaining redox-sensitive cleavability. Suitable for sequential conjugation strategies in multi-step synthesis where controlled amine revelation and stimulus-responsive release are required.
